"In all of my artwork, I'm responding to something (art history, pop culture artifacts, songs, or even my immediate surroundings) and trying to create a space for change and dialog."
"I'm constantly drawing. I almost never buy "art supplies" and have tons of scraps of paper, envelopes, receipts, cloth, saved up to be drawn on. My drawing allows me to create work immediately, and it informs my other work, which is often very labor intensive."
