Chloe was born March 5, 1994, in Chicago with her sun in Pisces and moon in Sagittarius.
DREAMER
Pisces are artistic, creative, musical, and deeply imaginative. The sign of healing and fantasy, this person lives in her daydreams. She needs plenty of alone time to write in her journal or lose track of time, and her best ideas come when she has this space — or through her dreams at night.
Chloe: Is it bad to live in your daydreams? Sometimes I’m daydreamy but not all the time. I hate being alone. I lose track of time, but I never write in a journal. I have meaningless dreams at night.
RISK-TAKER
The Sag moon makes her worldly with big dreams and visions. She can’t be pinned down or boxed in. Sag Moons are influenced by other cultures, travel, and anything outside the familiar. Sagittarius rules gambling, risks, and big ideas. She’s the one who dreams up crazy schemes and gets everyone to go along with it.
Yeah, I want to travel a lot and do big changes in the world. I don’t feel pinned down or boxed in. Sometimes I like risks, but I definitely don’t gamble. Sometimes I get crazy ideas and totally change what [someone’s] idea was to thinking of something better.
BOUNDARIES
With a trine (harmonious flow) between the sun and expansive Jupiter, boundaries can be an issue for her. Chloe may bite off more than she can chew. She will need a good manager to set her limits and rein her in when she gets carried away.
I don’t really do that, but sometimes I choose a goal for myself [that] maybe is too big and I don’t do it all. Sometimes I’ve said that I was going to wake up earlier for school and turn on the light to wake myself up, but I would just fall back asleep and not turn on the light — I’m too lazy in the morning.
WORK ETHIC
Saturn in Pisces is the signature of the professional artist or musician. Saturn rules work and ambition; Pisces rules the arts. Saturn gives her a natural sense of order and structure, a gift for rhythm and composing. She works only by intuition, not schedules.
I definitely do not have a schedule for anything, but sometimes I say to myself I’ll do my homework right when I get home. For music, I don’t have a schedule. Whenever I want to practice drums or have time, I’ll play ’em.
If left alone to get a job done, she will — her way. If bossed or nagged, she’ll rebel, refusing to do anything. Her creative process is hers and should be sacred.
I definitely don’t like it when people push me to do something I don’t want to do.
The right person to direct her is a nurturing, artistic, intuitive type who can “read” her like a book but guides gently without cramping her style.
My dad and [sister and band mate] Asya can sometimes read me like a book, but [Asya] wouldn’t guide me through things.
MAMA DRAMA
Venus squares the Moon, which can signify issues or power struggles with a mother or powerful female figure. Chloe’s mom may not understand her sensitivity or need for protection. Other times, she’s overprotective.
We wore that shirt that says “Save the drama for your mama.” My mom seems like she’s overprotective with some stuff because she’s a doctor, but she doesn’t, like, not allow me to have, um, friends over that are guys.
She should have a powerful male figure helping to guide her career, one who is sensitive, artistic, and has well-developed feminine energy.
Ask Jason [McGerr of Death Cab For Cutie, her former drum instructor] if he has feminine energies.
