The Sartorialist, a daily photo blog by former fashion industry insider Scott Schuman, is more about style that’s intrinsic and idiosyncratic than “fashion” that costs a trillion dollars and looks stupid off the runway anyway.

Schuman photographs well-dressed folks on streets throughout the world, capturing and praising anything from a brightly colored fedora to vintage accessories paired with a Zara dress. It’s a refreshing and inspiring take on style — about details that stand out rather than trends that fit in.
