Brittany Julious loves Flosstradamus

It’s like 5 degrees outside, and I'm already gearing up for the latest album from Flosstradamus, which comes out this summer. Featuring the Cool Kids, Amanda Blank, and the ultra-fierce Kid Sister, the mega-hyped Chicago duo organizes some of the best (and most cost-effective) events locally and internationally for a devoted crowd that’s big on dancing.

In the meantime, if you're in the Chicago area, you can get your Floss fix at the third annual FlosstraPROMus, a CHIRP benefit in which 100% of the proceeds are donated to the organization. CHIRP (Chicago Indie Radio Project) is a non-profit that was created by a group of volunteers involved with 88.7 WLUW. CHIRP is committed to bringing a new community radio station to Chicago for those who are sick of mainstream, commercial radio.

This year's FlosstraPROMus appears to be bigger and better than ever. Also featuring DJ C and Murderbot, expect a photobooth by Clayton Hauck of everyoneisfamous.com and video mixing by Thunderhorse. Formal attire is encouraged, but not required. This year's event will take place at the Abbey Pub and tickets are available on Ticketweb.
