Erik Adams loves Merge Showcase at SXSW

Every label you can think of is showcasing its artists at SXSW, but not every label that you can think of has the lineup that Merge Records will be presenting tonight at The Parish (214 E. 6th Street in Austin). They're packing star power with Destroyer and She & Him (in the case of She & Him, movie-star power), international flavor from Swedish yelpers Shout Out Louds, and the swirly, swirly sounds of Wye Oak (Radar Bros. and Portastatic finish out the lineup). Get in line early, this one promises to be popular.
