was my favorite class in school, but I always wished that the
classes had live music, a bar, theatrical models and that it
lasted for hours. Well, Draw-a-thon does just that. The weekly event provides an alternative to conventional art classes with draw-a-thons
that combine theater, performance art, modeling, and music with live
art making. The events, which go until the wee hours of morning, cost
$15 to $24 and currently are held at Teatro IATI in NYC's Lower East Side. The
intensely fun atmosphere provides a unparallelled opportunity to meet
other artists, hone your skills and make rad art at a totally
reasonable cost.
