I’m kind of a tree hugger with an addiction to fashion and crafting, so imagine my excitement to discover two business-savvy fashionistas making handbags from recycled materials. GG2G, which stands for Green Gifts 2 Get and 2 Give, makes a bags out of recycled billboards lined with organic cotton.

The “ReVinylized” line contains everything from totes to diaper bags and pencil cases. The styles appear to have some famous namesakes, although not stated explicitly, like the “Angelina” which is a fashion forward clutch. The use of the billboard gives it a shiny look that makes it perfect for a night out. Not only can I carry around a one-of-a-kind tote, but I can also keep a billboard from ending up in a landfill. Looking chic and saving the earth, what could be better than that?
