Re-teaming for their second collaboration as Bon Voyage, Jason Martin (Starflyer 59) and his wife Julie bring soothing pop back to the forefront of sound. Very reminiscent of Starflyer 59, Julie Martin's vocals gloss over the shoegazing pop sound of which Jason Martin has always been a pioneer. His pop sensibilities have always made for a unique blend of sound that is very airy and light. Julie Martin's vocals are also light and very much like those of Leigh Nash (Sixpence None the Richer).
This is one for the long road trip home for Christmas with the family.
