Official Bio
Amy S. is a Midwestern lady who started Venus Zine back in the day (about 1995-ish) when she was a freshman at Michigan State University. Venus Zine started as a small, personal fanzine covering urgent topics like “Smokes Reviews” and egg-and-spoon races in the snow. Over the years, with the help of hundreds of wonderful editors, writers, and photographers, Venus Zine has grown into a full-color, internationally distributed magazine that focuses on ladies who know what the junk’s going on this world. Sections Schroeder edits for the magazine: music features, Sexy, Arteest, Penus, and personal essays — if you’re a mad-talented writer who wants to write for these sections, get in touch. Also, if you’re interested in interning for us, please e-mail your cover letter, resume, and writing samples.
